Central City Millworks was born out of a construction company, Hal Collums Construction, that specializes in high-end remodels.
After Hurricane Katrina, it became increasingly difficult to find a consistent supplier of milled details that could match the uniqueness of each project. Central City Millworks acquired top of the line machinery along with an experienced and creative design team to continue the finest quality of work.
Caring for our environment is extremely important, so reusing materials has become a part of our everyday life. We continually look for ways to become more “green,” in our production processes. Central City Millworks donates sawdust to the Louisiana SPCA’s Rescue Ranch and other area stables.
We are located in the Central City neighborhood in the heart of New Orleans. Come on by and visit us between 7AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
