| Around the mill shop we strive to recycle, especially, the large amounts of sawdust we generating each day. In order to keep this commodity out of our landfill, we set up a vacuum system that helps all employees sweep up the sawdust. The sawdust is then donated to the Louisiana's SPCA Rescue Ranch. At the Rescue Ranch, abused and neglected horses are being nursed back to life. It is important for those to ill to stand to have lots of cushy bedding, which is where the sawdust comes in. Our spanish cedar, cypress and poplar untreated sawdust is put to good use! | |
